To foster the spirit of loyalty and to promote the welfare of the organization ,Cagayan de Oro (Bugo) School of Arts & Tradesre-activated the alumni association on July 15, 2017. The School Administrator Dr. Eulogio P. Sullano Jr. cordially and gladly welcomed the alumni who were present during the activity.The Election of Officers was facilitated by Dr. Glenn M. Gambi an alumnus in this institution. Then, the newly elected officers was inducted by the school administrator.On the same date, a Technology Based Community Training Program (TBTCP) in Siomai and Chicken nuggets were conducted to the alumni participants .
The footpath of Villa Trinitas Subd. Child Development Center before the installation of pavers
Recently, Cagayan de Oro (Bugo) School of Arts and Trades has conducted a technical research entitled “ Use of Scrap Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) as Substitute for the Aggregate in the Production of Paver”. The objective of the paper aims to recycle mechanically PVC wastes which increase in volume in the campus daily. Specifically, it attempted to attain the following objectives: reduce, reuse and recycle PVC waste materials by shredding; mix PVC aggregates with cement and sand to produce a Paver ; and use the Pavers as exterior flooring for some areas in the campus.
The actual installation of pavers on the footpath at Villa Trinitas Subd. Child Development Center
Through the Community Extension Services, COBSAT donated five hundred (500) pavers to Child Development Center, Villa Trinitas Subd., Bugo, Cagayan de Oro City. The extension services also included the construction of the footpath by providing not only pavers but also cement, sand and labor.
This venture will make the footpath of the school campus more convenient to school children and their parents/guardians.
